The Assam Public Service Commission has announced the recruitment of APSC Audit Officer (Local Fund) under the Finance Department of Assam through a Departmental Promotion Examination. Educational Qualifications

• Candidates must have completed at least three years of service as an Assistant Audit Officer under the control of the Director of Audit (Local Fund), Assam, as of 1st January 2023.
• Minimum qualification: Graduation from a recognized university.

Age Limit:

• Age will be calculated based on the date of birth mentioned in the Matriculation/ HSLC/ HSSLC Admit Card or Certificate. Candidates must submit this as proof during the application process.
• Relaxation in the age limit applies as per Assam state government norms.

Salary

• Pay Scale: ₹22,000 to ₹97,000 (Pay Band-3) + Grade Pay of ₹11,800.

• General: ₹297.20 (inclusive of processing fees and tax)
• SC/ST/OBC/MOBC: ₹197.20 (inclusive of processing fees and tax)

1. Written Examination:
   • Candidates will undergo a Departmental (Promotion) Examination.
   • The written test will comprise the following papers:
     • Essay or Precis and Drafting (100 marks)
     • Elementary Bookkeeping (100 marks)
     • General Accounts (100 marks)
     • Rules and Regulations for Audit and Inspection of Accounts (100 marks)
     • Assam Panchayat Act, Municipal Act, and subsidiary rules (100 marks)
2. Document Verification:
   • Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification after the written exam.

2. Fill Out the Application:
   • Login using your credentials and fill out the online application form. Ensure that all details are accurate, including work experience, educational qualifications, and service records.

   • Upload a scanned copy of your passport-size photo, signature, Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card, and other relevant documents.
   • Ensure that the size of each document does not exceed 200 KB.
