Punjab Waqf Board Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
1. Teaching Positions:
- Educational Qualification:
- NTT & Primary Teacher: Diploma in Elementary Education and Certificate of having qualified Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET).
- TGT & PGT Teachers: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with a B.Ed. from a recognized institution and qualified PSTET.
- Teacher Diniyat: First-class Certificate in Alim and Fazil. Preference will be given to candidates with Hafiz qualifications.
- Physical Education Teacher: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education.
- Experience Required: A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is mandatory for teaching posts, and 1 year of experience for Diniyat teachers.
2. Group-D Positions:
- Peon, Sweeper, Gatekeeper, Aaya: Candidates must have passed either 10th or 12th grade depending on the specific post.
Age Limit
The age limit for all positions is between 18 and 37 years as of 1st September 2024. There is a relaxation of up to 5 years for Adhoc staff working in Islamia Schools under the direct management of the Punjab Waqf Board.
